Our Mission:
The mission of the Friends of the South Berwick Library
is to support and promote the Library in the community.
We pursue this mission by raising funds to support Library programs and services.
Funds are used to purchase materials, services and equipment for the Library.
The Friends have Funded:
Guest speakers, including Maine Authors Series
Instructional programming
Video editing and digital cartooning software
Summer Reading Program
Purchase of copiers, printers and computers
Audio and eBook Subscriptions
Books
Carpet cleaning & window washing
Museum passes
New carpet for Children’s Area
Volunteer appreciation
Business meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of most months
