Annual Fund Drive
The Friends of South Berwick Library conducts an Annual Fund Drive in the fall for support of the Library and its programs. Now that we have a big and beautiful space, there are expanded opportunities for the Friends of the Library to support services and programs. The Friends will continue to raise money to help sustain a full-service Library.
A yearly donation to the Friends’ Annual Fund Drive will help us provide equipment, services and programs to enhance the offerings of our Library.
Please help make our Library a true information commons – the multi-generational heart of our community – with your contribution today to the Friends of South Berwick Library!

Strawberry Festival
The Friends are always at the Strawberry Festival! We provide information about Library Programs, hold a face painting fundraiser, and ask visitors to take a guess at “how many jellybeans are in the jar” to win a free book!
We seek volunteers for two-hour stints to represent the Friends at our booth, and volunteers to support the Strawberry Festival Committee with bucket washing (Thursday evening), hulling (Friday morning), shortcake slicing (first thing Saturday morning).
